EMIS has a great drug database which uses the NHS Dictionary of Medicines and Devices.  

When adding new medication you can choose generic or branded and a pre-populated suggested dosing can be selected. Standard Pack sizes are shown and the system allows you to write multipes e.g. 28x6.

There is a repeat dispensing module which allows you to issue a master prescription and a batch of numbered dispensing prescriptions. Yellow cards reporting can be done electronically through EMIS.
