In EMIS Web's appointment book, you can quickly create sessions for clinicians for:

• Today
• In bulk for this week
• Or skim the calendar for the weeks and months ahead

When you create a session, you can either create the session from scratch, dictating the start and end time, the slot types, the session holder, and the session name OR you can set and store pre-defined session templates which you then adjust as needed.

If you need to cancel a session, this can be done either through the planner or on an individual session basis, by right clicking on the session and choosing to cancel the session as a whole. You have the option to either cancel any scheduled appointments, or reassign them to another clinician's session:
