To filter and view past appointments or completed tasks in the Diary screen of EMIS Web, follow these steps:

Accessing the Diary Screen

Go to the EMIS menu, point to Care Record, and select Diary. If you haven’t selected a patient already, you’ll be prompted to choose one. The Diary screen helps manage planned items and tasks like medication requests, lab results, and even past presentation dates for chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes reviews.

Viewing and Filtering Entries

Once in the Diary screen, use the View section in the ribbon. Here, you can choose to display different categories:

  • Past Appointments: Displays appointments that have been held in the past.
  • Completed Tasks: Shows tasks that have been completed.

Utilise the Filters option to further narrow down your search, enabling efficient access to the information you need, thereby saving time and improving patient care management.
