Hero Health - EMIS Web Support Guide

Why does EMIS PCN Hub display only a generic ‘Booking Organisation Telecom’ instead of the external booking organisation’s name?

When an external organisation books an appointment through the EMIS PCN Hub, the system currently displays only a generic label ('Booking Organisation Telecom') rather than the organisation's actual name. This label is designed to provide contact information like an email or telephone number without detailing organisational specifics.

To identify the external booking organisation, you can generate a Population Report in EMIS. This report should include the field ‘Organisation Name of the Usual GP (Extended Services)’, found under Patient Details. This report will help pinpoint the GP practice responsible for the booking.

This functionality primarily aims to streamline data management while enhancing patient privacy and data protection across the network of EMIS PCN Hubs.
