EMIS Web provides a versatile feature allowing users to configure user-specific clinical views, tailored for your preference and role within your organisation. Specific steps can be followed to curate these views, thereby optimizing your workflow by focusing only on what's pertinent to your specialty or interest:

Configuring User-Specific Clinical Views

Access the Summary Screen: Start by launching EMIS Web and navigating to the Care Record. Select the Summary Screen from where you can view and organise patient information.

Open Configuration Settings: Use the CR Config option on the ribbon to enter configuration settings. Here, you can choose between organisation options and user-specific settings. Select User Options to ensure changes apply only to your personal interface.

Select and Manage Clinical Views: Within User Options, you will see a list of predefined clinical views available. These commonly include views such as Diabetic, Cardiac, Child Health, and Palliative Care. To modify or personalise, add or alter these views by selecting/deselecting sections relevant to your needs from the Available Views to the Selected Views list using the arrow buttons.

"Customisation of clinical views in EMIS Web saves clinicians significant time by providing direct access to only the most relevant patient information."

Set Default Views: Finally, choose your preferred clinical view to be set as default so you are presented with it every time you access the Summary Screen. Click Make Default to save your preference.

This functionality enables clinicians and administrative staff to focus on diagnosing or managing care pathways promptly and accurately, reducing the time spent navigating through less pertinent data. Enhanced visibility into focused areas can significantly speed up decision-making processes in patient care management. Always ensure the views are configured responsibly to prevent critical information from being inadvertently omitted.
