In EMIS Web's Workflow Manager, annotating and reverting documents efficiently can streamline practice workflows. Here's how you can perform these tasks:
Annotating Documents
When examining documents in the Workflow Manager, annotations can be a valuable tool for enhancing information clarity. To annotate:
- Open the document through the Workflow Manager Task screen.
- Choose the Annotate option. Various file types, such as .doc, .txt, .html, can be converted to a .pdf for annotation.
- Utilise annotation tools to add any necessary marks or comments. For instance, you may wish to add a 'filed' stamp to indicate progression.
- Save annotations directly to ensure all team members have access to these insights.
Reverting Documents
If you need to revert an annotated document back to its original state, follow these simple steps:
- Access the Workflow Manager Task screen where the document resides.
- Select Delete Annotated Document to remove all annotations, leaving the original document intact.
Utilising the annotate and revert features not only ensures patient records are accurately maintained but also enhances record-keeping efficiency within the practice.
Effective document management can save significant administration time and support better clinical decisions by maintaining clear and up-to-date patient records.
