Is it possible to change my default test request template after initially setting it up?

To change your default test request template in EMIS Web, follow these steps:

• Open the EMIS Web menu and navigate to Configuration, then select Template Manager.
• In Template Manager, move to the Templates and Protocols tab.
• Select your respective folder or create a new folder to store your customised test request template.
• Click on Test Request Template located within the Primary Care Templates folder in the EMIS Library, copy it, and then paste it into your chosen folder.
• Select your copied Test Request Template and click Edit to modify the template using the Template Builder. You can add new pages, sections, or clinical codes as needed.
• Once you have completed your changes, click Save and Close.
• To set the customised template as the default for offline test requests, use the Template Picker to select your template, either from the Recently Used list or your specified folder.

Changing your default test request template allows you to tailor the requisition process to better suit your specific workflow requirements, making the process more efficient and reducing errors.
