To edit a problem in a patient's care record using EMIS Web, follow these steps:
Accessing the Problems Screen
- Click the EMIS Web menu button.
- Navigate to 'Care Record', then select 'Problems'.
- Select the patient whose record you wish to edit. If no patient is selected, you will be prompted to choose one.
- The Problems screen will now be displayed, showing the list of issues associated with the patient.
Editing a Problem
- Select the problem you wish to modify.
- On the ribbon, click 'Edit'.
- Update the problem details as required. Options available may include changing the problem status, linking documents, or altering associated medications.
Changing Problem Status
- Select the problem in question.
- Click 'Change Status' on the ribbon and choose from options such as 'End Problem', 'Reactivate Problem', or 'Significant Problem'.
- You can select multiple problems by using Ctrl+left-click or Shift+left-click if needed.
