Schedule Transmissions

For organisations in Northern Ireland looking to schedule transmissions in EMIS Web, follow these steps:

  • Access the Lab Reports Workflow. Click the EMIS Web menu, point to Workflow, select Workflow Manager, and then in the navigation pane, select Lab Reports.
  • The Workflow Manager Lab Reports screen is displayed. On the ribbon, click DTS and select Configure Schedule.
  • Click Add, and set a Daily Recurrence Time to schedule your transmissions. A best practice is to schedule these to run at least four times a day, for example at 07:00, 11:00, 14:00, and 17:00.
  • Once configured, click OK to confirm the schedule and Close to exit the configuration screen.
It's essential to keep your scheduled transmissions frequent to ensure timely updates and data interchange, reducing delays in communications with partners and maintaining efficiency in workflows.
