Using Search View
To locate documents quickly within EMIS Web, open the Documents screen by pointing to Care Record on the EMIS Web menu, then select Documents. From here, select Search View in the ribbon. A search box appears under the patient details, allowing you to type in all or part of a document’s title or text. Results appear as you type, making it easy to pinpoint specific files.
This quick search can significantly cut down on admin time and helps staff focus on important patient care tasks.
If you want to close Search View, click the red cross on the right-hand side of the search box banner. Whenever you need more precise results, remember that you can combine Search View with document filters to display refined searches based on clinical codes, dates or specific sources.
